About Our Owner
Our owner, Jeanette, grew
up in South Africa and moved to the United States in 1998. With her
understanding of African art and culture, she can offer a personal
background and perspective about each piece of art she sells. In
fact, each item comes with printed information about the
piece. With more than 6 years of experience selling African art,
Jeanette first started selling items on eBay in 2001 and then
opened this shop in 2002. Now, she does the buying herself; not by
phone or the importers. She even does the picture framing
herself and adds to the domestic range of frames with a unique
ethnic molding from South Africa. From African masks to jewelry,
every piece is authentic. Find a wide variety of African art and
